[restate.ae] The Real Estate Portal of Dubai

Today, we happily announce the launch of restate.ae, the real estate portal of Dubai, now spins in action.

The whole thing started when we found out how complicated and unreliable it is to find a property in Dubai. Coming from web background and being the ones who build quality web apps we decided to build a web application that fulfill our needs and make finding a property in Dubai as simple as it is supposed to be.

We focused when building restate.ae on two main points, the search and filters and the power of information, We wanted our search to be smart, easy to use and flexible, so we found out the new concept of filtering, where in a single page, full of results you will filter with a single click at a time to get your results right away with some nice Ajax effects.

We also worked on generating powerful information, sometimes from the users interacting around, commenting on and rating neighborhoods and buildings, and sometimes by using the huge amount of listing information we serve at restate.ae to generate very reliable statistics.

We were able to finish restate.ae in a quick time, thanks to Ruby on Rails, the framework that if you do things the right way, it will help you do it the fastest way. It's all about best practices and webifying with quality.
